1. Who I Am

The Claymigo Store is a solo handmade clay art business run by a single independent artist based in India, operating online at theclaymigostore.in. I create custom, hand-sculpted clay figurines, keychains, earrings, and personalized clay gifts to order.

2. What Personal Information We Collect

When you register for a custom order slot on my website, I collect the following personal information:

Full Name
To address you personally and label your order
Email Address
To send you order confirmation and status notifications
Mobile Number
For order tracking and urgent communication
Instagram Username
Our primary communication channel for design coordination (optional)
Shipping Address
To deliver your completed clay creation to you
Pincode
To verify delivery feasibility to your location
Reference Images (Photos)
So our artist can sculpt your piece to resemble your chosen character or design

3. How We Use Your Information

I use your personal data exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Order fulfillment: To review your slot request, handcraft your custom clay piece according to your specifications, and ship it to your address.
  • Communication: To update you on your order status, request any additional design clarifications, and confirm delivery details — primarily via Email or Instagram DM.
  • Order tracking: So you can check the live status of your order using the Track Order feature.
  • Internal record keeping: To maintain an accurate record of your order and manage my workshop schedule.

I will never use your information for unsolicited marketing or promotional emails.

4. Data Security

I take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your personal information:

  • This website runs on HTTPS (secure, encrypted connection) with an up-to-date SSL certificate.
  • Your sensitive personal data (address, email, mobile number) is encrypted at rest in our secure database using industry-standard AES-256 encryption. Only I can decrypt and access it.
  • Uploaded reference images are stored on a private server and are only used by me to craft your piece.
  • Admin access to your data requires two-factor authentication (2FA).

While I implement industry-standard security practices, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. I cannot guarantee absolute security, but I do my best to protect your information at every step.

5. Data Retention & Scrubbing

We practice strict data minimization. Your personal information is retained in full only while your slot is active and for a limited number of recent historical slots (typically the last 10 slots).

Once your order's slot falls outside of this retention window, an automated system permanently scrubs and redacts your personal identifiable information (PII) including your email, address, phone number, and Instagram handle from our active database. Only your name and basic order details are retained for accounting and portfolio purposes.

Note: If the retention setting is adjusted to '0', data scrubbing is paused, but all information remains securely encrypted at rest.

6. Data Sharing

I do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party for their own marketing or business purposes.

Your data may only be shared in the following very limited circumstances:

  • Shipping Couriers: Your name, phone number, and delivery address will be shared with the courier service (e.g., India Post, Delhivery, BlueDart) solely for the purpose of delivering your package.
  • Legal Requirement: If required by law, court order, or government authority, I may be required to disclose your information.

7. Your Reference Images & Photos of Completed Work

The reference photos you upload are used only by me to sculpt and paint your custom clay piece faithfully.

I may wish to share beautiful photos of the finished clay creation on my Instagram page or website portfolio to showcase my work. I will always ask for your explicit permission via Instagram or Email before doing so. If you say no, your piece will never appear on my public platforms.

Reference images you upload are retained for the duration of your order and for a reasonable period after delivery for quality assurance purposes. You may request their deletion at any time after your order is delivered.

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to Correction: You can ask me to correct any inaccurate information I have about you.
  • Right to Deletion: You can request that I delete your personal data (such as reference images and contact details) after your order has been completed and delivered.
  • Right to Withdraw: You can ask me to stop using your data for any purpose at any time (though this may prevent me from fulfilling any ongoing order).

9. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to external sites such as our Instagram page or payment platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party websites and encourage you to review their own privacy policies.

10. Cookies & Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. This helps us improve the experience for everyone. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous traffic data such as page views, session duration, and geographic region. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google Analytics.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
